TilliT has exhibited its innovative digital manufacturing software alongside other world leaders in technology solutions on the global stage at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2023.
Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from September 11 – 13, more than 36,000 packaging and processing solutions suppliers and end users from over 40 vertical industries attended the three-day event.
Removing paper, digitizing the key focus for U.S. manufacturers
TilliT was one of more than 2,500 exhibitors this year showcasing the highly scalable, low-code SaaS solution via live demonstrations while having productive discussions with clients, partners, and vendors primarily from the United States.
James Balzary, CEO of TilliT, said that the event provided a great opportunity to open conversations with manufacturers in a largely untapped digitization market.
“Exhibiting at PACK EXPO Las Vegas was incredibly valuable for gaining insights into our U.S. clients' needs and illustrating how digital manufacturing can remove the paper still haunting so many shop floors across the industry,” James said.

“It was surprising how few companies in the United States had digital technologies on the shop floor. Demonstrating TilliT’s suite of digital manufacturing capabilities really struck a chord with clients.”
Human efficiency, connected frontline workers a hot topic
The TilliT team noted that human efficiency was also a regular conversation starter at PACK EXPO. Many clients still require the logging of data on paper or Excel spreadsheets and arduous manual checks of machinery when failures occur.
Across the U.S., human behavior forms a significant part of the efficiency puzzle manufacturers' are trying to solve. More than 12 million people are employed in manufacturing, and almost a quarter of downtime and nearly 70% of defects in manufacturing are caused by humans.

In most factories, people are still performing nearly three-quarters of tasks in the factory and are operating unguided.
“Many of the conversations at PACK EXPO centered on the human efficiency question facing American factories, precisely what TilliT’s digital manufacturing co-pilot aims to answer," James said.
"Harnessing the power of digital manufacturing, we can support operators to be more efficient through a guided, step-by-step digital workflow."
Gray Solutions – TilliT demonstration
One of the standout moments of the event was the interactive digital manufacturing experience delivered in partnership with Gray Solutions, who created a mock factory setup at their PACK EXPO booth.
Pairing a manufacturing line with TilliT, the demonstration captivated attendees by illustrating the integration of vision-based inspection on high-speed equipment, robotics and the linkage with digital work order management, quality control, asset performance and OEE, among other solutions.
Helping U.S. manufacturers untangle production processes for a Smart Manufacturing future
While TilliT is expanding in the USA, appearances at events such as PACK EXPO Las Vegas are an exciting validation of the future of the software playing a significant role in the digital transformation future of U.S. manufacturing.
